Miss International USA Foundation is a non-profit (501(c)(3) pending) Florida corporation, created Feb 4, 2009 for the purpose of becoming the premier venue for intelligent and talented young ladies of diverse cultures to showcase their beauty, brains, talent and culture in a fashion that will rival any other pageant.

Mission Statement

Miss International USA, Inc. will strive to become the organization of choice for the thousands of women of various cultures and ethnic groups who want to expose their talents to the broader community and reach their goal of pursuing a successful career in the world of entertainment, business and government. We intend to provide an atmosphere of integrity and a safe and nurturing outlet for them to showcase their assets, thereby preventing them from falling prey to the pitfalls of an industry known to sometimes be fraught with fraud.

Running the Show

The owner and founder of Miss International USA, Inc., Ms. Barbara Howard, is no stranger to the world of entertainment, government, public and media relations. President/CEO of Barbara Howard & Associates, Inc. as well as Miss International USA, Inc., Barbara Howard is a professional PR, media and governmental relations consultant. Her clients run the gamut from large multi-national corporations to small minority businesses, and include political candidates, non-profit organizations, governmental entities and educational institutions. Ms Howard is a Trade and Travel Goodwill Ambassador to Kenya and The Florida State Chairperson of the Congress of Racial Equality. (C.O.R.E.).

Listed in "Who's Who in US Executives", "Who's Who of Women Executives", and "Who's Who in Florida Politics", Ms. Howard has been featured in the Miami Herald, the Herald's Business Monday, the Sun Post, the Vanguard Chronicle, the South Florida Newsweek, the Aventura News, the Miami Times, Proyecto Magazine, Life and Style Magazine, and Infocus Magazine, among others. She has been a judicial Commissioner, receiving a gubernatorial appointment from Governor Bob Graham to the Eleventh Circuit Judicial Nominating Committee.

Miss Howard is a motivational speaker, published poet, spoken word artist, political commentator and columnist, and has founded or co-founded several organizations, including two pageants, a retail company, a theatre group, and an entertainment organization. She is a divorced mother of three, grandmother of eight, great-grandmother of three, and mother-mentor to dozens of young professionals and business owners.
